Originally formed in 1948 as Ross Auto Engineering, Electric Vehicle Manufacturers, the company is now known and registered as Ross Electric Vehicles Ltd. The current management team,  who are also the proprietors have been in post for the past 15 years.  Ross Electric Vehicles is exclusively committed to battery powered electric vehicles and associated equipment as a means of transporting materials and personnel in off-highway environments such as:

• Hospitals
• Railway Stations
• Retail Parks

• Industrial Complexes
• Sports & Leisure Complexes
• Holiday Villages

We continue to provide goods and services to end users such as University of Manchester, East Coast Mainline, Rail Gourmet UK and Cereal Partners (Nestle).    

The aforementioned are clients who continue to benefit from our experience and expertise.  On highway applications such as Dairy Vehicles are also catered for; especially those in use by independent Dairymen who do not have the luxury of fleet engineers.
